This large modern mansion has something that architects don't use often while designing modern minimalist homes. Usually, we see houses defined by straight, sharp lines, where space is transformed into large or small cuboid shapes combined together, like the Ber House by Nico van der Meulen Architectects. But not here.
This mansion, designed by AAMER Architects, almost has no corners. Only curves, carefully designed to connect every piece of this home. Parking roof on the first floor is connected with the roof two stories above, without being interrupted by walls.
The house is built on the hill, offering nice views of Singapore from its balconies and terraces decorated with green tropical vegetation.
"Living and Dining on the second level, connected with external verandahs / terraces that flow upwards and fold into the roof form with deep overhangs for sufficient shade and channeling the breeze through the whole house.
Two resort style ‘Cabana’ bedrooms are located on the ground level by the pool with a large open/covered terrace for poolside parties. Roof gardens and timber decks provide added insulation from the sun."
