Back in 200/2009, architects from Nikos Koukourakis and Associates office designed this amazing modern mansion located in Dionysos, a residential suburb near Athens, Greece.
The goal was to design large modern home and blend it into hilly surrounding landscape. Location provided beautiful pine tree forest around the house which inspired architects to design this mansion in olive-gray-ish color. Straight bold lines defined exterior facade while almost 4 meters tall glass panels created indoor-outdoor connection. Modern swimming pool is designed to be part of the house by being placed right besides it. This way daylight additionally reflects and brightens up interiors.
Inside of this mansion modern atmosphere is created with almost 6 meters tall high ceilings, contemporary furniture and bright decor. Living room is directly connected to swimming pool and terrace with tall glass wall. In case you're worried about the winter, windows have double glass with 4mm interior layer, 14mm gap and 6mm external energy glass, known as insulated glazing. Mansion offers 5 floors with 2 of them being underground as basement floors.
